Cynarina are single coralite LPS with translucent flesh. They come in a wide variety of colors ranging from red to neon green.
Moderate lighting is recommended. Cynarina are often found on reef slopes.
Low Light
Low light translates to about 30-50 PAR
Medium Light
Medium Light is between 50-150 PAR
High Light
High Light is anything over 150 PAR
WATER FLOW
Low water movement suits Cynarina well. Too much flow results in the coral being unable to capture food. If very strong aggressive flow is directed at the coral the skeleton might poke through which can be a site of infection and die-off.
FEEDING
Cynarina relies on the products of their zooxanthellae. This coral also benefits from the addition of meaty foods such as mysis and krill.

ACCLIMATION
Proper acclimation is extremely important considering the stress imposed on the animals by the shipping process
